This has been a challenging time for the the Arts. In this strange world of Covid-19, the Mississippi Mudds still has expenses. Our largest expense by far is our storage facility where we keep all our costumes, props and building materials. If you can spare a donation to the Mudds it would be greatly appreciated to become part of our Patron program. Stay well and we are hopeful for a return to the boards soon.

You can donate directly to the Mudds via Paypal and clicking the "Donate" button below.

Welcome to the Mississippi Mudds of Carleton Place.

The Mudds are a very active amateur theatre group located in Carleton Place, Ontario. The Mudds have a mission to bring Music, Dance and Drama to the community in an engaging and inclusive way. Our goal is to foster an appreciation of performing arts for members and audiences alike.

Since 1973, the Mudds have been bringing musical revues, family musicals, broadway shows, murder mysteries and a wide variety of performances to the community. Performing in the beautiful and historic Carleton Place Town Hall, there could not be a better venue to enjoy live theatre.

Our popular youth theatre program brings fantastical versions of classic Broadway shows like The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods and Annie Junior, and our high school Shakespeare "in the round" productions are widely acclaimed for making Shakespeare accessible to students and bringing The Bard to life.

The Mississippi Mudds are always welcoming to new members. If you have interest in volunteering in any area, or acting in a show, please contact us.
